I'm looking for a standalone NVR for megapixel cameras, looking for something that will handle 8 cameras max. I see plenty of software but not a lot of pre-configured units I'm looking for one I can purchase and hook Iqeye cameras to.

Toshiba IPR series is cost effective embedded windows solution that records at the Native resolution of the IP Camera. I do not know if they support IQInvision however.

Avermedia and DigiOp are two more.

While I believe Exacq will preconfigure their software onto a server, will NUUO? He mentioned he is looking for a preconfigured unit. I'd like to know for my own info too.

I have run 9 arecont cameras (3 MP -AV3100) with Luxriot Pro on Intel Core Quad processor 2.4 GHZ.

I am using an entry Level QNAP NVR-1012 which only supports up to 4 entry level IP Camera. QNAP also have the Megapixel capable NVR called VioStor.
