Greetings from Florida

Hi All,

Just found the forum, I've been putting together a home security system of both CCTV and IP cameras and will hopefully integrate that with an automation system as well. Hope to learn what mistakes I've already made and get some good input on some ideas for additional items I would like to try. And yes, I'm running everything on a Mac so be gentle.

That's OK, I'm not originally from there like half the population, raised just north of Detroit. I think I can take it, I work in a very sandy place where things explode :lol:

Not really, this will be here a while, but a change of scenery wouldn't be all bad either.

Thought that was supposed to be Master Knothead, after all you do need to be master of something, I know your wife doesn't allow you to be at home. :twisted:

Yes! That is why my dog's house has cable TV, A/C, telephone, wet bar, surround sound stereo, jacuzzi, and getting that pool table in to the dog house was a real pain!

With the cold weather lately I need to go back and do some insulating!!
