Equipment: Camera -Nuvuco CB-SD21N-L
Wire: Siameese Rg-59/ 18/2 Coleman cable 70ft run
DVR: Nuvico EV-4000
Power:Preferred power 4 channel 4amp 24vac DPS

I recieve a good clear picture day and night. But at night I get a blur only around a moving object (person walking, cat or dog) If the person stops walking they clear up.

Person is approx. 20 ft away from camera. This only happens at night and the night picture is clear otherwise, its only the moving person/object that blurs all other parts of the scene is clear.

regards,

Low shutter speed. That camera probably doesn't let you change it, so your only solution is more light.

You have DSS turned on, try going into the camera menu and turning off the DSS(digital slow shutter) and see if you have a picture that you like. Hope this helps.

I had several Intensifier cameras (Specotech) that I replaced for precisely this reason. Good images during the day, but absolutely worthless if the light was too low. You can't even add illuminators, since the Intensifier bullets lack an ICR, and are completely insensitive to infrared (I tried).

All the night images were blurry with any kind of motion.
