Hello,
I was wondering if anyone can tell me if these camera's (either the evq-3000 dome or the cvq-2500) will work with any dvr being that they must be programmed via pc (or other) for there setup. When the setup is complete will they function with all DVR's (I have a Integral DVX-500) and was looking to add a few more cameras and these look to be a nice quality addition. I tried covi's site and there is nothing there. Just the fact that GE Securities has bought them, GE's site I couldn't find info. Google just brings up basic info on these camera's.
Thank you all very much for your time.
Bryan

I've got the evq-1000 dome & box. Both connect via BNC and both require the small "ptz" type programmer. They are "neat" and produce a nice pic. I just could not justify paying the amount of money for them as compared to cheaper analog cameras. I still have these (2) on the shelf since I tested them. I might take them with me when I goto upgrade my favorite client in Florida this month?

I love the covi cams. From what I heard they are not making them anymore and they are hard to get unless a company had a big stock of them.
From what I know should work just the same as any other camera. The PC used to program it would be a laptop running Covi software the would be hooked up to cam at installed position and software just adjusts the position of the bottom 3 images.
