Thought I would give you guys a peak at our demo rig.

I am using a crank up lighting stand and t-bar. I can crank it up to around 11ft and it brakes down into to pieces for easy transport.

Equipment list.

Linksys Wireless AP
Linksys 8 port POE switch

From left to right:
Axis 214PTZ
Axis P3301
Axis 211
Axis 209FD-R
Arecont 3130M
Axis 233D
Axis 212PTZ

I had my first demo with the setup today and the customer was very impressed.

We are going to add a speaker, mic, PIR motion detector and some LEDs to demo the capabilities of the cameras. I will also work my magic on the scripting of the cameras to demo how that can talk to each other.

Tell me what you think. (sorry for the crappy cell phone pic)

I hadn't realized how big that 233 looked against the others.

*********** Edit ************

And does anybody know if the 212 is IR sensitive, or if they make a day-night version? I'd thought about putting one in my garage.

212 is color only and it needs ALOT of light.

233d is amazing!!!!

That's why I didn't look at that one more seriously. I like the concept, and think it's a great idea, with the wide-angle and the digital zoom, but adding a day-night option or an ICR would really make that camera.

It takes longer to carry it in then to setup. It's in two pieces the stand and the T-bar. Set the stand up put the T-bar on top crank it up and plug it in that's it's. I have the access point setup so I don't have to run a network run. I need to pick up projector so I can demo to a large group of people.

The projector sounds interesting. Let us know how that works out.

I have a phone system demo (nothing fancy) and can see how a cctv demo would be very effective. Nothing closes a deal faster then a good demo.

Would be an extremely compelling demo if there was a way to precisely control night lighting at various lux levels (e.g. 1.0, 0.5, 0.1, 0.05, and 0.01 lux).

Best,
Christopher
