hi!
I just wonder which of these two 1/3" and 1/4" CCD matrix is better and what actually is the difference between them? what are theyr deffects and advantages? anyone knows?

Based on the simple part of the size, then the 1/3 is better than 1/4.
But then again the 1/4 may have better specs then the 1/3.
You did not mention what cameras you were looking at.

1/3" CCD's are generally more sensitive to light.
