hi,
I was wondering if anyone else had encountered this. I have installed true geovision 650s or 800s(running 8.01 software) in the following system setups and get blue screens mainly at night
for customers who are running 5 to 16 cameras
Dell E310/Dimension 3100 (can this machine handle geovision cards)
P4 2.8 to 3.06 chip with hyperthreading technology
512(in one system) to 1GB of ram(in the other 4)
intel chipset
Video is intel 82XX with 128 megs support
Win XP or Win XP media center are the running operating systems
(I have tried an true ATI9250 PCI card w/256MG ram, as there's no AGP/PCI-e slot with no luck)
I have an extra 250 Sata drive to store the geovision Data
it has also happened to the one Dell 5150 I have in place with a customer, but not as quickly(ran fine for 2-3 weeks) as the 310
is it a software setting I missed? I only install the main system with webserver active and remote view.
I'm at a loss. any thought and help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
MAS
