Picked up the camera on ebay about a month ago and I have been unable to get the PTZ functioning with my avermedia NV5000 system. I bought an rs-232 to rs485 adapter to use, but still can't get it to work.

Anybody have any experience with this camera? I've been trying to research it for a while and at my end with it. This is the first ptz camera I've tried so maybe I'm just doing something stupid. I think it may go back to ebay soon.

When I power it on, it goes through an autofocus/home scan, so the camera appears to work fine. I'm thinking maybe avermedia just doesn't have the necessary protocol for it to work. The person I bought it from says it uses the BiPhase protocol.
