Can anyone recommend a comprehensive CCTV book that covers everything from cameras to installations? I see that there are quite a few books available and it is quite difficult to decide.
Thanks

I have this book and it is quite extensive. It's approx. $100 Cdn and has been my bible and resource.
Although the book is a few years old, CCTV basics remain the same.

Rory's link is the best, LTC is the leader in CCTV training. The owner has been in the industry doing training seminars for years and he has books, DVDs and tapes. He makes things clear and easy.

i think my question would be who is "Herman Kruegle" and what is his experience in the CCTV industry over the past 30 years?

I remember Herman Kruegle from many years ago, he used to own a company called VMI - also known as Visual Methods Inc. They were a manufacture of CCTV equipment - mostly all though on the covert side, like cameras in a sprinkler head.
