hi all
have an issue.. i have a cpd 503, after connecting the 4 cams i use the monitor and call input to view the cams
now heres the problem
when i view from "CALL" input picture is clear..
now when i view from "MONITOR" input picture is fuzzy or distorted
see pics below
I know its not a wiring issue or power
It has to do with the reciever
how can i resolve the issue?? or do i have to send it in for repair???

Stupid question but what is a "CALL" input? And when you say MONITOR do you mean DVR monitor?

I think he means the Call OUTPUT. It will output just one channel at a time. Normally it would cycle through the cameras, or cut directly the camrea with an alarm event.
The monitor output is the main display wiht the 4-split and OSD.
- If you display one channel at a time (not 4-split) then does it display normally?
- Can you replay the recorded video through the Call output? Does it display ok or it it corrupt?
Looks like a bad unit or bad firmware. You need to call CPCam tech support.

Thanks Scruit,
i should've said call output and monitor ouput...
i will try your suggestion on replaying the video,

CALL must be Asian for SPOT.
Single Camera Output - can sequence or single view, but not multiplexed output.
Looks like a bad board, not much you can do but send it back if it is a stand alone DVR. If its PC based thats another story and might be able to fix it (eg. bad video card etc)
What DVR is this?
Is this only occuring on the Network, or also on the Local Video on the Monitor?
CRT or VGA Monitor?
CCTV or Digital Monitor?

I thought it was a spot monitor but i thought someone came up with something new that i didn't know of :D
