I want to connect my main cam (only have one now at present anyway) like the below, and was wondering if there might be any signal loss issues..

-> from the cam to the input of a Panasonic WJ-MP204C Data MUX
-> from the output of the MUX to the A-channel input of a Panasonic CRT monitor
-> from the A-channel output of the Panasonic monitor to the input of the DVR.
-> then the output from the DVR to the B-input channel of the CRT monitor

I want to do it this way b/c I am assuming the A-input on the monitor will be a clearer picture, and I always have a live unmolested (other than going through the Data MUX) view.

Does this sound right?
