Hi all

I installed my first 3 home security cameras today and they initially looked fine, however, over the course of a few hours they started going dim, if I power cycle them they bounce right back to full brightness.

Any advice on how I might fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Never mind I did some further reading and found the problem was due to voltage drop over the cable run, I hacked up some transformers to provide a higher voltage / ampage and the problem has been resolved.

Just though I'd post in case anyone else had a similar problem.

How far was your run?

What kind of cables were you running?

Just curious.

Thanks!
