I have DS2 DX16 DVR. Need to replace Hard drive . Any ideas reagrding upgrade from 80gb to 160Gb or 250GB? Does it need some special software ? I installed new HDD and gives FAT error.
Any suggestions??

You have to get the item to a Dedicated Micros representative
this is the only way to change the Hard Disk because it has the software on it.
The hard disk is on FAT32
On the motherboard there is an eprom which controls the hard disk capacity
