I have Dedicated micros DS2 (old model) and have been trying to get a jvc tk-676 to run on it.
I connected the jvc rx- to pin 5 and rx+ to pin 3 on the 9 pin dtype connection. The jvc is set to simplex mode and point to point.
The camera self tests and displays a picture but I have no control.
I set the DS2 telemetry to JVC.

I tried the same with a VCL orbiter gold lite. that would rotate 180 every time i moved the joystick foreward but thats all.

Can you set the camera and dvr to PELCO D ? With baud rate 9600 8 none and 1.
You should see about 3.5 to 5.0 volts dc on the 485 + - ports at the dvr.

That is a much better standard for me.
