Anyone know if GE does anything different related to power supplies on Triplex units with 1,2,3 or 4 HDDs? I know at one point several years ago they upgraded the power supply from 5.17 to 5.2 amps. (the symtom was intermittent re-boot of the unit). I am seeing the same symtom now when upgrading a Triplex from one 80Gig HDD to (2) 300Gig HDDs. (yes, I am using a current version of their uploader s/w)

Of course GE does not recommend or support such disrespect for their units so I am not getting much help from them or their regional rep.

they have a power suply upgrade kit, but to get it you need to goto a factory training class.
