In the case of Geovison, i-view, etc. Does the software come with the cards? Where would I purchase Geovision?

Most cards come bundled with software, you can buy cards without for your own solution. Geovision is very popular with many people on this board, there are experts here using geo, you should read through some past posts and might want to check their links/adv.

almost all the DVR cards are with the default softwares.
but for original cards,u can get SD kits to develop yourself to suit with your own projects!.:)

Yah... the DVR card that we're using also comes with their own software. we'll only need to operate the software.
