Hello, I am looking to install 3 PTZ cameras on one 4CH DVR with PTZ control. The cameras and DVR are all the same manufacture. At this time I do not want to use a separate PTZ Controller ( keyboard ).
Is it possible to just daisy chain the 2 conductors (RS485) to each PTZ camera and terminate the end of the line, last camera ? I believe I will also have to assign each PTZ a ID as well. I'm just getting started with learning PTZ control via RS485 and looking forward to learning more about PTZ control via a keyboard other than limited functions through the DVR.

I assume that you are refering to daisy chaining them in a parallel fashion?

I only ask for those in the future who read this. I just wanted them to know that they could not daisy chain them in a series fashion.
