Can anyone tell me there experiance with outdoor dome housings I'm interested in the picture quality with a smoke color dome or a clear is there a big difference. Is the picture much brighter with clear does the smoke color cause any issues? Thanks

You may loose about 20-25% brightness. about the same a wearing a pair of sunglasses.

or you can just get a dome that is all black and clear glass right where the lens is... with these you still have to give them a good look to see where they are pointing at.. and if your looking at them odds are you just got a shot of their face.
