i have a sensormatic speedome 2000 ptz camera. When i power it up it goes throught its rotation but then i cannot get it to TILT everything else works except the tilt. Does anyone know anything about these or what the problem is.

Too many variables!

What is your level of expertise on these products?

I assume you know how to put in an address for the camera?

I assume you have the + wire, and the - wire hooked up correctly?

I have assumed that you have reversed the wires as a troubleshooting procedure?

Is this the same camera that you were having problems with before?

Is there anything in this topic that can help?

I have everything set correctly. I have another camera that i hooked up the same way and everything works fine on it. "this " camera will power up, go through its rotations(iris, zoom pan, tiltwork during rotations) then when i try to controlit nothing happens. all wiring looks ok

What are you using to control it?

ADTT16e?

What about setting it to an address, then let it go through it's start up procedure, and then changing the address again, and let it go through the start up procedure again.

I was wondering if this would force it to re-evaluate the system?

Does it tilt during it's bootup rotations?

If not, check the tilt motor.
If so, I'm outta guesses.
