I run a sensormatic system at my business with a nine channel sensormatic multiplexer. I have several speed domes which connect to a j-box that connects to an EIM box to my ADTTE controller. The EIM also runs to my multiplexer.

I recently purchased a sixteen channel Robot multiplexer. It has the remote input on the back. Will this work with my system if I substitute it for the 9 channel sensormatic one?

You are fine... I do not think you will see much of any difference in performance, as you probably are using ADTT16E touchtracker, which is directly connected to your domes... unless.. if it is being routed through the multiplexer... very rare, but possible...

another question,

I recently purchased a second EIM box and touch tracker and read up on how to hook this up as a secondary controller.

The back of the multiplexer has a main monitor output and a call monitor output.
will the main output show a multiplex view and the call up respond to the camera selection?

It should if the wiring is done correctly.. Just check the manual and it covers all the basis..
