Hi,
Could some one help me in installtion of Speed dome camera in rainy area. I have installed one such camera in IP66 housing.

Whenever there is rain fall... water droplets blogs on the dome cover from inside & outside .....

Due to Humidity in Air & heat generating inside the Dome due to electronic components inside ....it generates foggy envirnment inside ...i could solve this using desiccant bag .

Now my worry is the water droplets on outside ..... i could not use wiper since it's a dome shape...

Any one phased and implemented any solution for this ?? pls. let me know..

Kalpesh.

Solve the inside with that then goto the outside and use Rain-X on the outside or a product like it. Where the position is you can't put something above it to get rain further away from it when it falls?

Thanks,
John

Or you could always make a shield that is hanging over it but that only resolves falling rain and not wind.

:)

Goodluck and let me know,
Thanks,
John
