Standard Outdoor CCTV Camera - TV Lines?

i need a standard cctv camera for outside my office door (which is outdoors). i know i need a ccd camera etc, but how many tv lines shhall i go for? 420, 480? thanks for your help

You can get a very nice B&W high res. (570TVL) low light camera (<.20 lux) with a heater and blower for under $350. Make sure whatever you buy is rated IP66 for true weatherproof protection... otherwise you will be searching for a replacement in less than 2 years.. In my experience, bullet cams under eaves dont last long at all.. despite whatever they tell you.
