Looking for a DVR card and software for home use. I have/will have 6 - 8 analog IR cameras, and at least 1 IP camera. I currently have A GeoVision GV800-8 card and 8.1.1 software. I am not opposed to using the GeoVision DVR card with other software.
Requirements:
-Browser based remote live and historical video. Jave and ActiveX is OK, but I don't want a thick remote client such as the GeoVision that takes over the whole PC...
-Ability to run on my current server... Windows Server 2003 SP2, P4D w/ Intel 865 chipset, ATI Radeon 256MB, 2GB RAM.
-Ability to mask out areas and specify the sensitivity of the cameras.
Nice to Haves:
-IP camera support
-Ability to run as a service in Windows Server
-Uses Internet Information Server for remote viewing
I am not opposed to using a stand-alone DVR unit if that would be better...
