Does anyone know if i can browse/view the contents on the AVC761 harddisk from a PC in a file explorer window?

Have tried unsuccessfully to ftp to the AVC761 using username:port and password.

Do you have a manual? If not easy to download.

For a lot of info, search on this forum for AVC760 or AVC761.

Have the manual. It describes push ftp I.e. DVR ftp's footage to the PC. I'm after pull ftp, driven by the user on the pc locating the files on the DVR and pulling them across.

If you accomplish that task then I would be interested!

The DVR is in linux.

The video is encrypted.

I do not know if you could do anything Java based or not.
