This book can give you the basics. It is a textbook and as such is rather dry.

hello there, thomas is'nt there any book that we can read on line, or free down load?
scorpion - 15 Apr 2008, 07:12 pm
Free CCTV books are like reading war comics books to prepare to go to combat!

Why would you want a free book?

I can understand if you had to buy several books at $75.00 each.

scorpion - 15 Apr 2008, 09:48 pm
How about an analog camera attached to a webserver, and then it becomes an "IP camera"???

http://www.cpcam.com.hk/eng/AVC733.htm

I am not saying to use this device. I just gave you the link so that you can look at.

What do you think?
osamasaadah - 15 Apr 2008, 10:00 pm
that's good Scorpion, but how can i chose the ideal way of getting this project done ,when i know nothing about networking, that's why i am searching for : how can i do it with the analoge camera's ?
scorpion - 15 Apr 2008, 10:12 pm
Lets do this.

I will have you start a new thread here:

http://www.cctvforum.com/viewforum.php?f=19

These guys can answer your questions much better than I can. This is not my expertise.

I have the skill to over come small projects, but I have not done a 50 camera IP system.

Lets go there, and see what they have to say.

Mean while you can come back to this thread to see what people are posting.
