gv600 play back problems

Hi, i have a GV600 up and working and is on the network but i can not view the play back over the network throught the web cam facility!
I have set up passwords on the dvr to let it view it but when it trys to connect it just doesen't.
This is strange as i can view it live no problems!
Any ideas?

make sure port 5066 is open on the DVR PC's Firewall.

Hi i have had a look and can not find where to make sure the port is open, the operating system is win 2000, any ideas where this would be?

Windows Security Center, or if you are using a router make sure you have opened port 5066 by means of Virtual Server or Application Port Triggering.
