Bought and installed an Avtech machine only to find later that it can't broadcast sound over the net as well as pictures. (they don't mention this of course)
Is there any way to do this or is there some other DVR (4ch) that will put up sound as well as pics that isn't inordinately expensive?

Thanks for the link to that thread but I have no difficulty recording audio and playing it back via the dvr or backing up to a disk and doing it that way. It won't, however, broadcast the sound live along with the pictures over the net.

4 channel unit with one audio input. Will allow you to view and hear in real time. I might add however, dependent upon Internet speeds at the DVR and remote location may affect performance. I usually remotely download the event and play back so as to have seemless audio. A few of my customers who do have audio, it may be great one hour and OK the next. It all depends on Internet congestion AND PC performace as well.

Also available in other versions, ie XLA and RTA.
