I do not have much experience with cellphones so I will not be much of any help.

What port number are you using on the DVR?

Hi scorpion, i don't use 80 ! i use another that is well working (4444) with pc since 2 years.
Please note it isn't a cell-phone ! it a pocket pc , IPAQ 2210 with a compact flash modem inside, i can surf on net , i can even see the web page for pc (video server E) but then i don't see cams because pda doesn't have java support.
So alternative is Eagleeyes.
Please send suggestions, verY appreciated!

I was hoping that taking you off of port 80 would solve that issue. Other than that I have no clue. I do not set many DVRs with cellphone view. I wish that I could do more so that I could test the various issues.

What happens when you use GPRS/3G???
drmacchi - 30 Nov 2008, 01:49 pm
gprs/3g , i don't understand . i downloaded a .jad file that was not recognized, so i found an emulator from IBM, it works , i can run .jad file but then i don't see anything......

If the GPRS/3G did not work then I do not know what to tell you as I do not specialize in this area.

I do not know what IBM software you are using, but I am surprised that it is working as you say.

What kind of emulator, and where can is find the source?

IMPORTANT UPDATE.
I installed eagleeyes (new) version. i haven't done before, because i had warning "not compaible" with your system.
With this version a big step forward: i can see webcams ! your webcam at
IP
dsshost.dyndns.org, and even manage them !

PROBLEM: when i try my cams, application crashes and the link to every cams are deleted automatically! what can the settings be with your cams that mine don't have?

i think that problem is about the protocol tcp: my router has 3 options for the port to be opened : tcp , udp , both
both: crash, links deleted
udp: login fail
tcp: crash, links deleted

I need more info:

What device is losing the links?

If your device is a PDA then why dont we just use the browser or video server e??

I did not realize that you were from another post

http://www.cctvforum.com/viewtopic.php?p=85582&highlight=#85582

I could connect to your dvr via browser, but I could not connect with my sprint fusion cellphone as I do not have a selection that provides ":" and therefore I cannot add the port number to the dns account.

Maybe someone else with a pda similiar to you can help from this forum.
