Hi guys, i am using a pc based dvr n i forwarded the ports on my router on port 80, 8080, 9999, 18000 (UTP), 18082.....but strange thing is that i cant view it on my own internet explorer but outside my network i am able to do it. But only linksys router i am able to do it to view myself but other brands liked aztech, netgear etc i cant.....

Use the internal IP address to connect to the DVR (192.168.X.X) instead of the external IP. That should fix your problem, some routers don't let you acess the exernal IP for internal servers from an internal PC.

i used the internal IP n i still cant see myself remotely from the internet explorer.....very strange....very confused....
