spent $157 on a CPI ps-16dc that is producing line roll in the camera picture. I need 16 source dc source that will be stable and not the piece of crap CPI that ordered from security warehouse in florida. it is going back tommorrow. any opinions on altronix altv1224dc2 unit? Do I need a ac/dc unit and do these cost more? thanks

Do you have the camera on a metal mount, on a metal bracket attached to metal?

no just plastic to wood. i tried a radio shack 12v dc 500ma adapter at the same location where the cpi unit is and bypassing this unit got great reception with no bars. now i know it is the crap cpi. why does pro security warehouse sell such crap.....this will not improve their reputation.
