thanks to all for help with my last problem,

im looking a a few different PTZ domes and one has 64 preset positions and the other has only 2 and one gaurd position. and there is a big differance in price also one has a super HAD sony camera and ive no experiance with sony HAD.

questions;

I thought preseta were part of the DVR software and not the dome?

Is super HAD that much better with image quality?

With my dome, when you set a preset with the DVR software, the actual camera responds with 'memory set' , so you're actually programming the dome via the DVR software, and the preset data is stored in the dome, only the preset number and description is stored in your DVR software. So number of presets is important

Sony make Superhad, if it says sony had it would mean superhad, as everything is superhad these days, unless it's sony exview. Exview has better low light colour performance.
