Is it possible to wire a ptz to a stand alone for control and then wire it also to a dvr card,2 systems with control?
I have a few 10 core alarm cables already in place ,is this cable suitable?

We have run ptz cameras using both the manufacturers keyboard & Geovision system at the same time.
Depending on the camera type & maker you should be able to daisy chain the cameras, you should only need 2 wires for most cameras (we use LinLin).

I tried this with lilin and it works, but still having some problems, doesn;t repond as I was specting, but with Pelco protocol D, I could,t, I have to use either the joystick ir the geo system, if I have conected the joystick the geo system doesn't work. I was thinking in add something like a relay that always close the joysthick unless you use it. I f some one has an idea it would be very welcome or if you already have something like this working please helpme. TIA
