I found a KMC-8800 8 ch 240 fps Video Surveillance Capture Card on Ebay for like $130...does this seem like a scam to you? It seems awfully cheap to me? compared to other prices. I have just been reading about the dvr systems for a few days now and trying to learn as much as I can before I begin to buy and try to assemble my own surveillance system. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If this is a scam..where are one of the better places to buy a dvr card and what brands would you recommend?

Just went through about 10 pages of threads and answered my own questions about the Ebay Item. Seems to be a knockoff that will give me a lot of problems. So again..what would you guys recommend..I need about 6 cameras for a small convenience store and I figure I want them to run at 15 FPS (is this too much?). I'm trying to figure out what is the best type of card for me to by and where some reasonable places are to purchase them.

You are looking at an 8ch card, and expect to pay between 400-600 for a quality card.
