What are other dealers doing with regard to water spotting on PTZ's? Is there a solution that you can put on the plastic shield to sheet the water off the dome when it is raining? I've looked at the cams in inclement weather and you can hardly see through the spotting.

perhaps a coating of Rain-X?

Pelco recommends a good furniture wax that is safe for acrylics to clean their domes. That might also help prevent water spotting.

Rain-X works great...I'm not aware of any products specifically designed for a CCTV application...

CCTV-X works great! Mounts on the backside of an mini LCD Screen with double stick tape!

Yes, you want Rain-X or a plastic safe wax. This is what we have been using for years for our PTZ domes. Seems to work great and keep the rain off the domes. Let us know if we can help you any other way. Thanks
