I have satellite with Hughes net with a linkyis router and cant not get remote access to work. Have anyone gotten satellite with a linkyis router to work with geovision

Yes, I have Huges net and wild blue customers. Really no different then Cable or DSL so normal FAQ and help files should be just as helpful for you.

one of ur biggest issues with that type of connection is going to be upload speed - its probably around 120-140KB

That, plus latency sucks with satellite. I used WildBlue for about a year. Downloading pre-recorded video clips will be somewhat ok..but live video from my experience was not so good. The video would pause very often. My best results were using the JPG mode and only viewing one camera at a time.
