are you logged on as an Admin? As the codec will need to be installed when the program is installed .. then again normally you cant install the program without being an admin.

what OS are you using on the PC in question? What version is the Geo DVR software and also what version of the TCP Client are you using?

could also be an issue with the video adapter on the PC in question, though that would not be the first thing I would check.
