I use text inserters to hook up our P.O.S cash registers to the surveillance system. We have been using decadenet ingeniering, is a good product but very limited in it's functionality. Looking around I got in touch with TVS from honeywell, very expensive. Anyone knows any company with a good product at a reasonable price? I usually get asked for my customers for an increase of their control without spending to much money.

Works alot better then the TVS stuff. Ever since Honeywell bought up TVS, the company has been terrible. AVE has alot better tech support. Alex is the main guy there.

i couldnt quite get through all the reading ..anyway, can you search the text from the register using seperate software, remote software, or does it just display it on the screen?

Both AVE and TVS just overlay text over the image, no search. A little useless actually. Guess it is a ditterent.

The AVE box is what we have on our demo and it works alright for text inserting. But that is all it does.
