I am trying to catch some associates in my warehouse. The area i'm targeting is very dark and i think i may need to use a ir camera(small one)
However this is the problem in the area where i will be putting it i'm afraid the ir lights will be too noticeable, Is there a way to disquise the ir lights from being noticed?? If i put a black rubber washer in front of the ir lights would my picture be ok??? thanks guys

Use a covert illuminator and BW cameras, totally invisable. :D

Have to agree with Collin R. Just use an IR illuminator that is 950nm or above and a true b/w camera that is capable of picking up IR. That should catch the thief.

if its pitch dark how are the employees doing whatever they are doing? :D
Also, if you dont think it will scare them away, maybe consider using motion detector lights, then you can use any camera.

now do you adapt which way to solve the problem? The illuminator B/W camera, IR camera with 950nm or above, or motion detector lights? Or other ways?
