Default password is admin/admin.
How do you alter it in the Video Server E software? I've altered it in the DVR box but can't find the way in the software at home.
It says in the manual to enter the 'system config account' in the supplied software but there's no mention in there of accounts or passwords. . .

Here's how I navigate on a 4 channel copy:

upper right hand corner click the "system config" icon.
"System Settings" window opens.
On left side of panel open "general"
Then open "account"
highlight the admin user
edit password

this is a photo of the video server e. the button i highlighted in yellow color is the system config. then just follow the instruction of C7 in CA. and you can change your username and password. also you can edit the user rights and duration of connection before the user will be automatically be log off.
