welders glass or neutral density

those of you who use filters when adjusting cameras during the day which do use
welders glass
or
neutral density filters?

And which kind do use
welders glass- #?
neutral density- x?

cant comment on the # glass myself, but i used flters and they didnt work down here ... too much darn sun .. ive found the best method is to prefocus indoors in a room with low light ..

I have liked the neutral density filters. although they are significantly more expensive. Especially when you drop them.

A pair of polarising filters :D

That way, you get a variable ND effect, although it can be very expensive if you drop them :wink:
