what version of Vista is best to use with geo? I would not want to shell out for ultimate if something less expensive is workable. Or is it better to set it back to XP? :?:

stick with xp vista is a memory hog. i cant see any benefit in using vista on a dvr.

...... XP works, but Vista works as well.
Running a 1480 card, 1gb with Vista (16 cam's), dual core pentium: 60-70% CPU.
Using almost all cpu intensive options in Geovision.
Just a standared pc, runs perfect.
AND .... better image quality! (tested exact same system on xp and Vista).
Vista runs very well with Geovison.
Witch version: anything (only one I did not test is the Home version).
