which monitor to use?

currently using a 13 inch tv connected to dvr with rca jack,l have 4channels to view and l view the site over the internet.l know cctv monitors are better resolution, any rcomendations ps.cameras are panasonic wv-cp474 and pan 924a day,nite

these cameras have 570 tv lins ,would l need a monitor above 570 or 400tv lines is good? l would like maybe a 19-20inch if poss?

If you want the 570TVL quality then yes you will need the higher res monitor. The 400TVL is still 'better' than a TV, where it is industrial and can be left on 24/7 unlike a TV. (though i leave my TVs on almost 24/7, but I doubt they are going to last me that long!)
19-21" will be more expensive especially with high res, but yes:

Even with the 500TVL there is a much greater increase in quality compared to using say a 19" Color TV. Flat Panel TVs are not bad though but yes the monitor is still better quality and lasts longer. I think TVs are arround 300-350TVL approx.
