  1. Hi Guys, Ok, a brief overview first. I'm setting up a new ICE system in the car, which will be Android based, the Head Unit runs android 4.2.2 and runs normal Android apps etc.. I've also got a 360degree camera system lined up, which outputs through a normal Video Out lead, which I could connect directly to the HU, but it would go into the Rear Camera only mode (i.e. it only shows on the head unit when your park up), I want to be able to view it when moving. So, it got me thinking, does anyone know of a device that takes a Video in signal and streams it? Is there then a corresponding Android app which I could install in the head unit to run to view the stream? It would also solve another issue that the Tyre Pressure Management System that I'm looking at also outputs through a Video lead, I could have a second streamer and then be able to switch between the two. Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated.
  2. No answers? Wouldn't have thought it was too much of a hard question for a CCTV forum!?
  3. Hi, I've currently got a RapidOS 1120 card, which up to now appeared to work fine and to a degree it does. However, when its called into its first serious use following a burglary next door, its resulted in a number of failures. 1) The media player fails to convert the PMF files into AVIs, it simply crashes or doesn't encode the AVI correctly. 2) It doesn't capture at 25fps over both cameras, although it claims to be a 100fps capture card, over its 4 connections. The files are recorded at 12.5fps. And yes, the settings are set to record at 25fps! 3) The software is rather poor and the support is non-existent. They've told me its because they don't have the resources to update the program, they're only a small company. Thus it doesn't work on Vista. So, what do I need. Well, these are the priority. 1) Capturing all channels at 25fps. 2) Ability to capture at full PAL resolution (I have 600TVL capable cameras) 3) Ability to setup motion detection for each camera 4) Ability to browse recorded events etc.. 5) Must be reasonably priced! 6) Automatic recording deletion after x days would be useful! Network access via web or whatever isn't important as I log onto the computer via Remote Desktop anyway. Image Quality though is important, RapidOS isn't bad in this regard, but how much of it is down to the card and how much is the camera I simply can't tell. Any help / advice would be appreciated. Cards like this would be fine, just let down by the 640x480 record resolution Ah, can't post URLs - search ebay for item ref 120375901992
