Power Supply for Pelco Spectra iv

Thanks for that info Phil. I will have to check if it has a fan and heater and source the correct supply. You're a gent Phil, thanks again.
  2. Hi. I'm hoping someone can help me. I recently purchased a Pelco Spectra IV SL 23X from the internet. I know it needs to be wired for a 24V power supply but don't know if it is a particular one. I have 2 24V adapters. With one it does nothing and with the second one it seems to begin the boot phase but is in a loop. Also wondering if anyone knows of a compatible wall mount for the same camera. I am based in Dublin. Thanks in advance for any help.

    Geovision GV-900

Hi. I bought a genuine Geovision GV-900 on Ebay but unfortunatley it didn't come with any software. Could someone please tell me what software I need, where I can get it, and will this card work on a Windows 7 based system? Thanks in advance.
  4. Hi. After a recent break-in I purchased a CCTV system for my home that included a stanalone DVR. As the DVR didn't have snapshot record I purchased a Techwell 2815 DVR card with the intention of running the CCTV through my PC and therefore having access to numerous CCTV software options. Unfortunately the card only seems to work with the very poor included software. Does anyone know if there is compatible software available or some way to get the likes of Blue Iris or iCatcher to recognise it. Thanks in advance for any help.

    Remote viewing of home CCTV

Many thanks and a great step by step guide " title="Applause" />
  6. Hi I need some step by step help here. I have a cheap ebay wireless cctv system setup in my home. I have it setup with icatcher console on a spare laptop and I would like to be able to view it remotely from work and my iphone. I have the icatcher integrated web server set up and I can view remotely with any pc in my home. I can also us it remotely on my iphone with the icatcher go app. Once away from the house I can no longer view remotely from either a computer or iphone. I can only assume that it's got something to do with the router (netopia) settings (portforwarding or static ip). Sorry for being so longwinded but could somebody please give me a step by step guide to setting it up. Many thanks in advance.
