  1. Hello, I have 2 of these cameras that are on the network but are not functioning. I can ping the IP and a port scan only shows port 21 and 23 (ftp and telnet) open. I have tried to contact the manufacturer with no results. I would appreciate any insight anyone has. Thanks. I just realised I posted this in the wrong forum. Could this be moved to the IP cam forum please?
  2. How do you tell the difference if a card uses hardware or software compression? Additionally, do any of you recommend a decently priced 16ch hardware compression card? Thanks
