MINI IR HIGH SPEED DOME V1.3 circuit board burnt out chip

This is picture of the dome cam from the internet that I'm talking about. There's no manufacturer's name on it or the on the User's Manual. The only stickers on the outside of the dome is that the address is 01 and inside the base there's a sticker that says it's NTSC rather than PAL. haha
  3. Hi, I accidentally applied 24vac to a 12vdc mini dome cam. Good move eh? Lol I have no idea what make it is. Got it online from China. Luckily I purchased 2 of them so I'm presently using the other one that I didn't burn out. The only thing it says on the box is "Mini IR High Speed Dome". The small power distribution circuit board on top of the dome under the mounting arm with the 3A/250V fuse didn't protect the V1.3 circuit board from failing but it did protect the camera because I swapped the good circuit board from the other camera to this one and the dome booted up normally. Does anyone know what chip is at location "D2"? That chip fried but I retrieved the markings about the burnt chip from the good dome and I see: "1605 BV" I've searched and searched Mouser, Digikey, Allied Electronics and can't seem to find a match for this chip. Of course, any help from you guys on this little problem of mine would be awessome! " title="Applause" />

    Pelco DD5BC Trouble Configuring...help!

First of all, thank you very much for your reply! From what you're saying - it would be good for me to ask TLS if I could get a copy of the Pelco board schematics. Awesome! I will place them a call in the morning! Sounds like they give people a "small credit" for used boards, repair them like I want to, then they turn around and sell it as a "B" quality board for $250 bucks. Hmm... Not exactly what I was looking to try to do but thanks Survtech! By the way, Awesome website!!! -mark

    Pelco DD5BC Trouble Configuring...help!

Thank you very much survtech! I've looked around there before...thanks. They DO have a lot of parts. Oh well, guess I better shop around for another cam. I was hoping it was just a blown cap or bad diode perhaps outta specs. I was hoping you'd might know how to trouble shoot the board. Maybe I'll try replacing the caps first>>> -mark

    Pelco DD5BC Trouble Configuring...help!

I have a Pelco SpectraII 3.31 PTZ cam. I can get through the "Power Up" and "Done" messages when powering up the camera but during the "Configuring" mode it will not do it's "maiden spin" after the zooming in part. The camera head wheel does not "lock in" or get "stiff". Same thing with the camera head - it remains "loose". The board is a: PA03-9620-53A0. A Spectra 53A0 IC53-0060-0331 PLCC chip is occupying socket location U5. Any help on this "Configuration" problem during boot-up will be greatly appreciated! I'm especially interested in what possible board components that perhaps went out of specs would cause this? I've taken good care of this PTZ and it has been in an inside environment with a well maintained cooling fan. I'm hands-on and experienced with board level bench repairs but do not have enough money to buy a oscilloscope... -mark p.s. Is there a way I can attach a good high-resolution photo of the board to this post for you guys to see?
