Please help the newest addition to CCTV Forum!!! Thanks in advance I am in search of an 8 Channel DVR that will give me email notification and the ability to view either video or snapshops via a Blackberry or Iphone. I have hooked up a couple Digimerge VB300 Blades in the past, but wasn't happy with the fact that you couldn't view them remotely using a PDA or Blackberry/Iphone. Has anyone installed a AVerDiGi EH5108H Series DVR? How did you like it if you did? I notice that it doesn't have FTP, is this a big issue and how would it affest the day to day operation? If anyone can recommend a DVR other than the AverDigi I am open to all suggestions. The main features I am looking for are -8 ch -email notify -remote viewer via internet -Blackberry/Iphone viewable (with snapshot) Thanks in advance for all youhelp in helping me find a solution, this forum a what appears to be a plether of knowledge and I look forward to working with everyone.
