  1. Does anybody know where I can find the reset button on the Hikvision DS-2DE4A425IW-DE PTZ Camera? I removed the dome and found the Micro-SD slot, and the serial (debug) port, but I can't seem to find the reset button?! Any ideas where to look? Thanks!
  2. I'm hoping you all can help me with my Lorex LNR280 NVR (purchsed at Costco). It has been running fine for a couple of years now. I just went to review some video on it (I has probably been 2-3 months since I logged on to it) and found it was running sluggishly, and downloading video kept failing. So, I decided to reboot it... and it never came back up! It still powers on, and the PoE and uplink network lights flash. It then beeps once and the Lorex splash screen comes up. And that is where it hangs. It is not reachable on the network. I've tried disconnecting the hard drives and attaching a new one, but that made not difference. It is using the original Lorex Firmware, but based on other posts on this forum, I shouldn't waste my time with Lorex support. Any suggestions on how to resolve this? Thanks!
  3. Tim36 - A couple of questions: 1. Which Swann model did you buy from Costo?. Did you buy it in-store? I don't seem to find one on their web site that would match up with the DS-7608NI-SP specs. 2. What do you think of the Swann vs Lorex LNR280 ? 3. Does the Swann natively support other IP camera manufacturers, or would it need HIKVISION Firmware?
  4. I'd like to add Axxon Next to the list of Video Recording Software. Axxon Next works with a long list of cameras and is Free for up to 16 cameras and 1TB of storage. I've used it for a while and it seems to use storage pretty efficiently and goes pretty easy on the CPU. (I'm using it with 9 cameras - Axis and Arecont brands). http://www.axxonsoft.com/products/axxon_next/ It also has a new Android app, but I have yet to get that working
