    Need Help Power Supply

hi, how many amperes this 12 volts power supply? i cannot read it. regards,
  3. Hi, Tom has the right answer go for Dahua DVR. i upgrade 80 cameras including PTZ cameras from analog to high definition using HD-CVI DVR and still using the existing analog cameras. gradually i replace the analog to HDCVI during our preventive maintenance.
  4. Hi, Try to look for another type which is HD-CVI DVR. This is a Tri-brid DVR where in the future you can change your analog cameras to High Definition-CVI cameras with up to 5 megapixel while using your existing coax cable. you can install a smart PSS to view it in your PC and a software to view it in your android or iphone type of mobile phone.

How to Tweak your PSS software

money matters. you can still download it in Dahua website for free.

hi friend, Does your DVR has LAN output? all DVR has already software to view the selected cameras but you will need a PC. you cannot run monitor to monitor because you will have the same display.

CCTV System design for Two IP PTZ Cameras

Hi Goodie, You are using 2 IP cameras right? so there is no need to use a Fiber optic cable use a TP link outdoor antenna 2 each total of 4 then align both of them point to point then plug it to the router connect it to pelco NVR then attached your KBD 500 joystick. If in case you have already layed down a fiber optic from the area where the camera will be installed going to the communication room you need to use a converter. Here is the link below. http://www.bb-elec.com/Products/Datasheets/EIR-x-Sx-series-1012.pdf

    CCTV Brands

You can also include CNB cameras and DVR they have good performance. I am using DVR almost a year without any problem.
  9. Hi Manix. it depends to your budget if you use CAT5 you need to buy the baluns to install it in both ends. and if you use the coaxial cable both ends directly connected to DVR and camera. both are good with the same result. but be sure you install a conduit pipe for cable protection. I am using both in installing CCTV.

    NO Video on PTZ Camera

hi friend, i have same problem last week where 2 espirit pelco camera connected to 2 pelco net was taken out and i connect it to CNB DVR. the configuration is Pelco D and i use RS425 2 wire. i changed one camera to address 2 as both were configured on address 1 before. when i move the PTZ suddenly the video comes black and i noticed that when i move the PTZ 1 PTZ 2 is also moving. I read the manual and the correct settings is Pelco P i change both the configuration on the DVR and the video comes back. one suggestion i can say is to read the manual of the camera maybe you have some wrong settings that is why the video was lost.
