Hi can anybody help me figure out how to connect my DVR to a keyboard my DVR is Dahua and the keyboard is a pelco. my DVR is a http://www.dahuasecurity.in/products/dvr0804-1604le-as--63.html model.and the keyborad is a Pelco KBD300A. I am using the DVR so its working fine the keyboard was working with another dvr so its working. i only want to use it for tv not PTZ i have tried it with my DVR using a RG45 ethernet cable but nothing happens no power light comes on so can anyone put some ideas my way. i was told that the keyboard should work ok with my dvr. any ideas appreciated,

Thankyou Securame i used the PSS and i can now view my cctv from my laptop so all is good i still dont know why web service does not work but its all sorted with pss so thankyou ,

i have tried IE and chrome and firefox i get the same response from them all a blank page i just looked in my files no webrec in they what is PSS is this another web viewer thankyou,

Hi can anyone give me some idea what i'm doing wrong. i cannot access the WEB SERVICE on the internet to view my cameras. although i can view them on my mobile phone using gDMSS Lite app. when i put my ip address in the browser. the page loads up but it is just a blank page. my dvr is a dahua 16 cam. i have port forwarded all ports and can see them using canyouseeme.org.as i said i can view my cameras using the mobile app.at home and away. so i'm a bit lost as to why i cannot us the web service on windows any help would be gratefully appreciated,

Hi any feedback appreciated.. The way i view my cctv at the moment is i have a 16 camera multiplexer connected with a keyboard. the multiplexer is located outside of my house. because i didn't want all of the cables from 16 cameras coming into the house it's a lot of cables . so i only have 2 cables coming into the house 1 is a RG45 ethernet cable this is the connection to the keyboard the other cable is a vga going to a tv monitor and although i cant get into the settings menu from the keyboard i can access and change the camera sequence this is all i need to do so this work ok for me. this system as been working fantastically but it is now time to replace it. so going back to my original question can i use 2 dvrs in the same way. i don't have this system connected to the internet. its only for home viewing,

Hi Is it possible to connect 2 dvrs together in different rooms and have the cameras connected to one dvr. but be able to use the second dvr for viewing the cameras in other words using one as a keyboard. if yes how is it done i have 2 dvrs that are the same,

hi tomcctv yes it is a cable issue. although i do have cctv cameras already in place i didn't set it up the straight forward easy way. ive got the multiplexer in the bird house with the cameras and power to the cameras. all in the same place . i then have just 2 cables running all the way to my house. one is the cable that goes directly into my tv from the multiplexer the other cable is a ethernet cable going from the multiplexer to a remote keyboard. doing it this way saved me running 16 camera cables from the shed to the house. and it works for me. so no direct camera cables come into the house. so this is why i'm looking at the wireless option,

Hi i.ll try to explain what i'm after and hopefully someone might be able to help. i basically want to put a camera in one of my bird nest boxes. ideally wireless and be able to put it. on a forum that i use. so my friends can watch live video of events happening. but doing this safely so that no one can access any settings when viewing. also are there any laws against doing this. a little bit about the distances and what i have . i have a o2 wireless router. the distance from the bird box to the router is 130 feet. the house is built from brick so 2 brick walls and a block built garage plus the timber shed stand between the router and bird box. a booster or something else can be moved upstairs giving a clearer direct signal if needed. if this is possible any advise on whats needed would be greatly appreciated thank you,

thankyou jazzar that sounds like a easy way to do it. but ive already gone and pulled rg59 shotgun cable through now. it was a bit of a struggle but i managed. thanks for the reply,

Hi I want to add 4 more cameras in another building. the building is about 40 feet away from the other building. that i have my dvr in. i already have 2 cameras in the building. i've used rg59 cable for the 2 cameras. and i've used normal plug in power adapters to power the cameras. the problem i have is that the rg59 cable runs through 1 1/2 waste pipe. but its not a straight run . i have a 45 degree elbow coming out of one building with a 6ft drop then another 45 elbow fitting . then a straight run but this is under my paving slabs. this is a straight 40ft run going into the other building. now i can use the existing rg59 to pull new cables in. what i'm wondering is which cables will be best for me . i also want to power the cameras. remembering i cant pull any cable through with fitting attached because of the elbows they would likely get stuck in the pipe. so should i just pull 6 shotgun cables or is there a better way of doing the job,

sorry about that. you seen the video and the problem i was getting .well i thought ground looping . till it was suggested electrical interference. so i did a bit of unplugging and found the cause. for each camera i was using i add individual power adapters plugged into power sockets close by the cameras. i changed this to one individual power supply to all the cameras. at first this made no difference. until i turned the power supply of to the power sockets that i add used for the power adapters . then the inteference went away.

thankyou for the help you have given me i now have the problem sorted . thank you to the toss... and ssnapier.. for pointing me in the right direction. i simply unplugged the power leads that i previously add the camera power adapters plugged into and hey presto no more interference . so again thank you. although it wasn't a big issue its made a huge difference to the picture quality,
